Free initial consultation  The Law Offices of Rehan N. Khawaja offers free initial consultations to consumers and businesses who may need to file a chapter 7, chapter 11, or chapter 13 bankruptcy petition.  When you come in to decide whether or not you should file for bankruptcy, Mr. Khawaja explains what the different types of bankruptcy are and asks questions to determine the state of your finances.  Based on your conversation, he evaluates if filing for bankruptcy is right for you.

Your second appointment  The firm begins the process of filing for bankruptcy.  During this meeting, Mr. Khawaja forms a detailed report of your financial situation, gathering as much information as possible.  Mr. Walker then obtains a copy of your credit report, fills in any missing information, and carefully organizes your file.

Filing for bankruptcy  After Mr. Khawaja receives your complete file from John, he prepares your bankruptcy petition and several other forms required by your district’s bankruptcy court.  Mr. Khawaja goes over all the details of your bankruptcy petition with you in person to address questions you may have before paperwork is filed.  After filing, he attends all bankruptcy hearings with you.
